In the early morning, we will start your full-day Lake Titicaca tour. Around 7:00-7:15 AM, we will pick you up from your Puno hotel. A brief ride takes us to the port where your boat for the day awaits.
The first stop on our journey will be the Uros Floating Islands. These fascinating islands, constructed entirely from Totora reeds, offer a unique insight into the Uros people’s way of life. Here, you will have the option to take a ride on a Totora reed boat, operated by the local families.

From Uros, we will sail towards Taquile Island, which will take us around two hours (30 kilometers or 18.64 miles). This serene island is famous for its vibrant textiles and the culture of its inhabitants.
On Taquile, you will hike to the village. It nestles at an altitude of 3,950 meters (about 12,959 feet) above sea level. The hike is moderately difficult but well worth the effort. After a local lunch, we will descend to the main port for our return journey to Puno.
