Planet Odysseys is a Peru-based travel company specializing in ethical and culturally immersive journeys across southern Peru. Our experiences combine authentic local encounters with carefully curated itineraries that prioritize comfort, cultural depth, and responsible tourism.
We operate experiences across some of Peru’s most remarkable destinations, including Lake Titicaca, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, and the Sacred Valley. Rather than focusing on mass tourism, we emphasize smaller groups, meaningful local partnerships, and slower forms of travel that allow travelers to engage more deeply with each destination.
Our goal is simple: to create journeys that feel personal, thoughtful, and genuinely connected to place.
From Backpacker to Peru Travel Entrepreneur
Planet Odysseys was founded by Sreeram Hariharan, an entrepreneur originally from India who first arrived in Peru as a backpacker. What began as a journey through the Andes soon evolved into a lasting connection with Peru’s culture, landscapes, and communities.
Inspired by the warmth of local people and the richness of Andean traditions, he chose to build a life and business in Peru centered around meaningful and responsible travel experiences. Over the years, Planet Odysseys grew from a simple idea into a travel brand focused on cultural exchange, ethical tourism, and authentic storytelling.
Today, Planet Odysseys connects travelers with Peru’s landscapes, cultures, and communities through thoughtfully curated experiences rooted in cultural respect and meaningful exchange.
